FENG SHUI PHILOSOPHY

When you ask, “what is Feng Shui?” the answer will never be as simple as the question.

Feng Shui is an ancient art and science, developed over 3,000 years ago in the region we know today as China by the Wandering Tribes, an early civilisation. Ever since, the people of China have based their lives, cities and beliefs on Feng Shui, which remains a fundamental part of their culture in the modern world.

The words “Feng Shui” have a profound meaning.
In the simplest Western terms, Feng Shui can be translated as “Wind and Water” or the “blowing of life into the matter”.

If we view energy as the force that makes things happen, an extension of energy is “Qi”, which is the power that creates life. What’s great about Qi is that it exists in stages – it is born, it grows, it decays, and it dies – and Feng Shui’s beauty is learning to follow all of these stages with the right attitude and support from nature.

As humans, we can’t completely avoid times of deterioration or decay. As we all know, these periods are an integral part of what we call “life”, and great births will follow times of decay. This, in essence, is the cycle of Feng Shui. It is the process by which Yin becomes Yang, and vice versa, with all the necessary stages in between.

Once you embrace this concept, you can begin to understand the meaning and relationship of the three types of good fortune; what we call “Heaven Luck“, “Man Luck“, and “Earth Luck“.

All three of these powerful forces are essential in your efforts to improve your quality of life. Harnessing them helps you to be in the right place, at the right time, and crucially, to have the right tools at your disposal to live better.

It is a matter of will.
If you are willing and ready to make positive changes in your life, you only have to trust and follow the stars – they will always show you the right path to happiness and harmony.
